초록

To define the generic simulation model for wind power generation system, International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) is preparing international standards. The generic model speeds up the simulation and decreases the time for the assessment analysis. This paper introduces the new international standard of IEC 61400-27-1. And it is explained the power control of type 4, which is connected through a full size converter. According to the standard, simulation model is developed using Matlab/Simulink. A sample 2 MW turbine parameters are used for simulation results. The validation for simulation model will be executed by comparison of the field test.
