AB - It was demonstrated that the transient torque of a wind turbine drivetrain from a blade can be observedeffectively by a state observer, which is based on the modeling of the drivetrain as a one-mass mechanicalmodel. The fluctuation of blade torque such as the tower effect and wind gust was also included for theimplementation of a realistic simulation of the transient torque in a wind turbine. However, the accuracy of theestimated torque depends on the parameter error of the model. The estimation error of transient torque due toparameters such as the moment of inertia and the friction coefficient was analyzed and verified by simulationsand experiments. Using the estimated torque, it is expected that abnormal conditions in the drivetrain can bemonitored effectively in real time.

초록

It was demonstrated that the transient torque of a wind turbine drivetrain from a blade can be observedeffectively by a state observer, which is based on the modeling of the drivetrain as a one-mass mechanicalmodel.
