초록
In this paper, the method and effect of gain scheduling of individual pitch controllers applied to MW wind turbines are examined. It is shown that when a fixed gain with a relatively large value is applied in the entire wind speed region, a problem may occur where the vibration mode of the blade is excited in the high wind speed region. In order to overcome this problem, a method of applying gain scheduling is proposed so that the gain value of the individual pitch controller in the MW wind turbine decreases as the wind speed or pitch angle increases. It was confirmed that applying the proposed gain scheduling method can solve the problem of vibration mode excitation of the blade that may occur in the high wind speed region. In addition, it was confirmed that the asymmetrical load of the blade and the damage equivalent load can be educed in the entire wind speed region thanks to gain scheduling.
