초록

When a large-scale offshore wind farm is connected to a grid, the interaction with existing renewable energy sources in the connected area causes a decrease in system strength. The short circuit ratio (SCR) is a representative index that evaluates the strength of a system. However, since SCR does not take into account the interaction of renewable energy sources, a higher system strength evaluation may appear than the actual system strength in areas where renewable energy is concentrated. Therefore, in this paper, the system strength of the Honam area is evaluated using the inverter interaction level (IIL) index, which considers the interaction of renewable energies using the power tracking method. In addition, the impact of the interaction with renewable energy sources on system strength is analyzed by comparing the IIL index and the SCR index when connecting large-scale offshore wind farms.
