This study was conducted to suggest improvement plans for forest trails management such as suitable forest trail composition by type and satisfaction improvement of users through consciousness analysis of forest trail users. The awareness of forest trail by type was too low with 21%, and so clarity of forest trail classification and detailed standard is needed and advertisement should be strengthened. Second, satisfaction level of forest trail use was low with 3.25 in overall average of Likert scale. Satisfaction level by factor was highest with 4.2 in accessibility, followed by therapy, health, connectivity, and competition was lowest with 2.2. Especially, naturalness and low-cost should be highly improved. Prevention of forest environment damage and satisfaction improvement of users are required by developing diverse programs and by expanding guidance facilities and employment based on condition and time by forest trail type. Third, provision of objective forest trail information is needed to make users choose forest trails matched with the user’s purpose according to difficulty level by constructing system and network for major information offering because half of the users get informed about forest trail through internet. Also, manual guidance and amenities installation are needed to prevent safety accident of forest trail users. Firth, revisiting of the used forest trail, recommendation to others, use of different forest trail were preferred all. Especially, recreation and therapy forest trail was preferred the most, and thus, managing the forest trail and strengthening policy is needed considering this result.
