초록

In this paper, the development results of energy saving device for 57m class strut supportedtwin screw car ferry has been presented. The series of theoretical calculation with CFD code of Ship flowfor some variations of strut fin were performed, and model test in towing tank has been carried out withselected device. The result of towing tank test shows up to 6% power gain in full load condition of design speed of 10Kts.
