The aim of this study is to look for the effect of self-presentation(public-self, narcissism) and information exaggeration in SNS conditions on the information diffusion and personal relations. The empirical study is based on a field survey and structural equation model. The results show that the effect of perceived public-self on information exaggeration(Hypothesis 1) is not significant. But perceived narcissism positively affect perceived information exaggeration(Hypothesis 2). It also reveal that perceived information exaggeration negatively affect the intention of information diffusion(Hypothesis 3). Finally perceived information exaggeration is found to negatively affect personal relations(Hypothesis 4). The significance of present study is to extend scope of research which is related with new media communication. Especially, this study emphasize the importance of self-presentation and information exaggeration in SNS conditions. This means corporation can manage consumer attitude toward the advertising information on SNS by managing the degree of self-presentation of them. And it also means that corporation has to manage perceived information exaggeration on SNS for building robust customer relationship and diffusing their information through all customer.
