A Kind of Wireless Sensor Networks Applied in Public Services

Article Preview

Abstract:

The network model of data collection in public services is different from other Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The direction of its data transmission is single; and the communication between nodes is not frequent. The amount of data is little and transmission delay is allowed. Based on these special features of the network model in public services, we proposed a wireless-sensor network protocol applied to low-frequency bands. The network simulation software NS-2 is used to simulate and analyze the model
