Numerical Simulation of Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet Using Lattice Boltzmann Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

A model for calculating the velocity and temperature field of plasma jet by Lattice Boltzmann (LB) method was established in this paper. The numerical simulation of plasma jet was derived by selecting two opportune equilibrium distribution functions, and the results obtained are compared with those of the experiment and in literature. It is found that the LB method is simpler and more efficient than the traditional finite difference method.
