This data set was created for use in a project working to forecast crop yields (corn, soybeans, and wheat) using public weather data. The data set was formed using data from the National Agriculture Statistical Service (NASS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). A look at how the dataset was formed with code is included with the dataset.
