ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the analysis of the academic discourse about parametrization conducted in the periodicals Forum Akademickie and Nauka. The purpose of the study was to capture how the knowledge-power formations regulate, produce, and sustain the “truth” about the responsibilized academia. The post-Foucauldian analysis has revealed, among other things, different types of parametric criticism, thematic scattering and consolidation, and the dynamic character of the discourse. The rationalities of governmentality (defensive, adaptive, and enterprising) have been constructed by the insight through the discourse about parametrization and two discursively sustained and constructed “truths” about university: the discourses of the repressed and of the responsibilized academia.
