ABSTRACT

The Project management life cycle can also be described as the processes for achieving set goals or objectives within the constraint of time, budget and staffing restrictions. Project charter is one of the most important documents of a project because it contains the authority for creating projects. The planning group obtains information from many sources with which it identifies, defines and matures the project scope, project cost, schedules of project activities, relationships and resources arrangements. The scope planning is for creating a project scope management. This documents how the project scope will be defined, controlled and verified. The Close Project Process is used to terminate officially or formally all activities of a project or a project phase, transfer the completed product to others or close a cancelled project. The objective is to control factors that create changes. It is performed from project initiation to completion. Change control is necessary because projects hardly perform as planned in the project management plan.
