ABSTRACT

This chapter explores key aspects of physical wellbeing, including those related to disability and how these can affect our health, with an emphasis on preparing for university life. Within the chapter, topics such as sleep, diet, exercise, safety, consent, sexual health, substance abuse and others are explored, focusing on the impact these can have on concentration, memory, stress and overall wellbeing. Throughout the chapter, there are useful tips and activities that students can complete to support them in getting ready for university and to develop their self-efficacy and independence.
