ABSTRACT
Drawing on the empirical findings of the preceding chapters in combination, this chapter explores how the passage of time influences the construction of identities, how individuals orient towards life changes and how they craft multiple identities. In so doing, it reveals how and why identity shifts in the discourse are observable over the years and within one ethnographic interview.
