Description
This R code was written by Emir Toker to support a study which includes some application about Pantanal basin and soil moisture data. The code can be used to treat with NetCDF type data files. The purpose of the code is to extract data for basin area specified from global soil moisture data using by shapefile with crop and mask commands, in the long date range (in this script, seven years with daily data). "ESA CCI SM v04.4 COMBINED" (were cited at references section) data were used for this script. The code generates the output (was given in files section) data in NetCDF format. Output data format and temporal resolution can change optionally.
