This learning unit has been prepared for non-disciplinary learning groups (16 years or older) and

1. introduces citizens and (future) researchers to the research environment
2. enables citizens and (future) researchers to acknowledge safekeepers in research
3. challenges citizens and (future) researchers to value good research and reliable research results
4. emphasises that research is embedded in a broader research environment
