Abstract: For the effective evaluation of hydraulic conditions of pipeline system, it is necessary to evaluate not only steady flow parameters but also unsteady flow conditions. In this study, quantitative evaluation of stress concentration in model pipeline is going to be performed, applying 3D image analysis and fracture mechanics. The characteristics of stress conditions in model pipeline are correlated with un-steady flow. Using image analysis method, a relationship different inner water pressure conditions and detected fracture mechanics parameters are correlated. By NDT monitoring in service pipeline based on these results, the stress-strain characteristics is successfully detected by 3D image analysis.

PFINDER 73 ProLight: UV technology for NDT - redefined

With the new PFINDER 73 ProLight handheld lamp, PFINDER is now also setting a new standard in the
...
field of accessories. 16 UV LEDs achieve a large-area radiation of the test surface, which until now was only known from the best stationary lamps. Furthermore, with an outstanding homogeneity.

ial. The Jutan also provides features of high S/N ratio and narrow deadzone, and it is capable of detecting defects near the surface. There is a wide range of model variations: Cartridge, Case, Flat and Pencil types for various usages such as butt welding or fillet welding parts, narrow groove part, inner and outer surfaces of pipes, gas-cut surface of reinforcing bar, gap of crankshaft and so on. With the Cartridge type, it is easy to change element size and frequency due to its plug-in structure. The JUTAN was released in 2015 at Japan, and its demand has been increasing year by year with Japan and other countries.
