We, the Authors, Editor and Publisher of Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, have retracted the following article:

Jie Zhou, Jun-Wei Xiong & Yu Zhao: Development of a porous bifunctional metal-organic framework for cyanosilylation of aldehydes and ablation of human laryngocarcinoma cells. Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 194(8) 2020: 829-835 (10.1080/10426507.2018.1550643)

Following publication, the authors have requested a full retraction of their article. The authors attempted to verify the results of the anticancer activity evaluation section and have discovered they are irreproducible. They believe this is due to contaminated cell lines, which makes the findings reported in the article unreliable.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted.”
