El futur dels MOOC: aprenentatge adaptat o model de negoci?

Resum


En l’actualitat, molts cursos MOOC es dissenyen com si fossin una col·lecció de vídeos als quals s’afegeix un fòrum, fet que implica seguir un model d’ensenyament a distància tradicional sense promoure un aprenentatge adaptat o personalitzat. Aspectes com aquests, juntament amb la qualitat del procés formatiu, han de constituir un dels principals reptes dels MOOC en els propers anys.

Aquest tipus de cursos poden desenvolupar un important paper formatiu en l’educació superior, no només en països on ja s’estigui oferint aquest tipus de formació sinó en països en vies de desenvolupament. Per fer-ho possible, els MOOC han d’adoptar diferents estratègies d’ensenyament per promoure un aprenentatge més personalitzat que comporti també algun tipus de certificació i acreditació dels ensenyaments.

El futur dels MOOC ha de passar per afrontar cinc dimensions prioritàries: el model pedagògic, els processos de monetització, la certificació, l’aprenentatge adaptat i els MOOC en països en vies de desenvolupament.
