             WELCOME TO THE METADATA WORKING GROUP

CNRI have very kindly taken over the hosting of the metadata email
discussion list (which, as you will know if you were at the New York
workshop, now combines the two groups on descriptive and rights
metadata).

We hope that this list will provide the means for an open discussion
forum for all of us.  Please don't hesitate to contribute your thoughts
and opinions.
